1988 - Owner of Jazz It-Up starts

entertainment company in California although originally called something else.

1990 - With one sound system we start doing two shows a month.

1991 - We move to Oregon. Our

company changes names.

2001 - We move equipment into 400 square foot facility but we are still

busting at the seems.

1996 - We really take off and add three sound systems.

1999 - We have our first write up in the newspaper.

2002 - We add four systems bringing the total to 6 shows.

2005 - We add two systems bringing the total to 8 shows and upgrade all of our amplifiers. We also add black light

cannons to our lighting systems.

2006 - Still growing we add our own web based booking program to book shows instead of going thru an outsourced company like most companies do. You can even check date availability from our web site. Most guys use DJ Intelligence or companies such a s that. This means your personal information is in the hands of people not even associated with the company you are using.

2007/08 - Still growing, moving into a larger facility now. We are excelling in video productions services. We now have 5 video screens with DLP projectors available for our customers.

Jazz It-Up Productions has been providing sound, lighting and video

production in the since 1993. With great experience, integrity and attention to detail we ensure that all of our events go perfectly. Our goal is always to let our customers have a worry free, fun event.

 

We can supply your event with everything from the

Basic Announcing System 

(for lectures and meetings up to 100 listeners) or our Disc Jockey show

to the live system (for crowds up to 5,000).

 

We take no deposits to reserve your event entertainment.

A signed contract is all we need.

 

We have a warehouse in Tigard that houses 1 concert sized sound

system, 4 big school sound systems, 4 wedding reception size sound

systems, 2 wedding ceremony systems, 2 video systems as well as a karaoke system.

 

What I believe sets us apart is that we have a lighting system that

accommodates the largest package for ever sound system. Every sound system and lighting system use the same components to ensure that if 6 customers order a Gold package for example, every one of those customers will receive the same show.

 

We use Disney as a model for our great shows as well as our quick set-up and take-down of our shows.

 

Our business plan has been one of controlled

growth and repeat business.

Most of our clients continue to use our services year after year.
